Rudy, with original owner Scott Rudolph, came to us on July 22, 2001

Rudy made friends fast. He was preening Karen within an hour of arriving in his Shores home.

Rudy is a Nanday Conure. He was given to Craig and Karen by Scott Rudolph. Scott moved from Ventura to an apartment in Orange County that didn't allow birds. He left Rudy with his parents, but his parents didn’t have time to spend with Rudy. After several months, Scott began noticing a negative change in Rudy’s personality, and his parents were anxious to have Scott find a home for Rudy.

Rudy is a very loving bird, he likes to give kisses and makes a kissing sound. He says a few words, mumbles, barks like a dog, and he laughs. Rudy entertains himself playing with bird toys when he is not with Karen.
