Peeper

Peep (also called Peeper and Little Peep)

Peep, a Cockatiel, was found as a baby near Craig’s place of work (Valex) in 1998. Peep was outside, eating seed with a flock of wild birds. A hawk was nearby. Craig approached Peep, who seemed more confused than fearful (a personality trait she still displays). Craig took Peep home. Peep appeared to have some nerve damage and was shaking badly for several days. Several years later Peep still walks a bit funny, waddling a little like a duck. Peep is very sweet, still looks confused, and is not afraid of anything.
